Session Security

Access to this portal is protected by a server-side session. Your sign-in is stored in a secure, http-only cookie — no secret key is ever exposed in the browser.

  • Sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity.
  • The telemetry API rejects every request that is not signed in.
  • To change your password, see README_SECURITY.md.

Device Monitoring

Devices send no on/off signal — they are considered offline when no new reading has arrived for this many minutes. Devices report under a minute, so a small value catches outages quickly.

API Access

Integration API credentials
  • Credentials are for read-only machine-to-machine integration. They cannot change anything.
  • Each credential is limited to one tenant, to the refineries and devices you choose, and to the permissions you grant.
  • The consuming system must send it only as Authorization: Bearer … over HTTPS, and must never put it in a URL.
  • A new credential is shown once. It cannot be displayed or recovered later. If it is lost, rotate it or issue a new one.

1–100 characters, for example the consuming system's name.
Leave empty for no expiry. Must be at least 5 minutes ahead; the server enforces the maximum.

Choose at least one active refinery.
Device access
Permissions
Choose at least one. Every permission is read-only.
One IPv4/IPv6 address or CIDR per line. Empty means any source IP. A /0 range is refused. Agree the source addresses with the consuming system's operators.
